Job Title: Waitress

Job Description

• The duties and responsibilities of a Waitress include welcoming and seating guests, taking guest orders, communicating them effectively to the kitchen and in addition,memorizing the menu, and offering recommendations toup-sell appetiser, desserts, or drinks.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests and taking drink and food orders.
• Staying attentive to the needs of guests in the dining area.
• Delivering food from the kitchen to the guests.
• Ensuring the food order is made correctly by kitchen staff and looks presentable for guests.

Qualifications

• SSCE or equivalent.
• At least one (1) year experience as a food server within a restaurant, hotel, or conference centre operation.
• Any related customer service/oriented experience will be considered.
• Must have clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have the physical abilities to carry out the functions of the job description.
• Must be able to handle cash transactions responsibly.
• Must be able to consolidate and coordinate needs for all tables within their station.
• Must be able to carry food and beverages.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Ability to comprehend and effectively communicate in fluent English.
