Job Title: Executive Senior Team Lead, Conferences

Job Brief

• You will be working in the group of Senior Team-Leads consisting of a number of like-minded and similarly qualified individuals.

Roles & Responsibilities
Your job responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:

• Work closely with the General Manager, Conferences & Events to develop and execute plans and new opportunities for the department.
• Responsible for sales/marketing of sponsorship for assigned conferences and events.
• Responsible for all assigned event and conferences operations throughout the year.
• Contribute to the ongoing achievement of team budgets/targets by managing events as required by business demands such as meeting with clients to discuss their needs and outlining sponsorship package options to meet these needs.
• Arranging and coordinating services, such as conference facilities, vendors, signage positioning, displays, audio-visual equipment, and accommodation for participants and sponsors.
• Managing, planning and implementing targeted and effective cross-channel marketing campaigns, with the goal of securing maximum delegate revenue.
• Working cross functionally, to define, manage and assist with the execution on the event goals, messages, audience generation/email campaigns, speaker plan, collateral, event website and registration, and event logistics.
• Provide the Conferences Manager with a clear marketing plan for each event.
• Manage and monitor the creation and scheduling of conference emails to the internal conference data lists, as per marketing schedule and Conference targets.
• Manage and monitor the Conference Marketing Executive to ensure events are promoted via relevant social media platforms, including (but not restricted to): Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.
• Coordinate members of his/her assigned team to ensure that goals are met.

Requirements

• Degree in Business or Marketing.
• A minimum of 5 year's experience in marketing
• Ability to liaise with stakeholders and influence clients to sponsor events, place ads and retain them as either sponsors or/ and events guest.
• Strong ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
• This is a revenue-generating position. Therefore, you must be comfortable working with financial targets, individually and as part of a team.
• You must possess interpersonal, troubleshooting, critical thinking, time management, leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• You are required to possess a strong understanding of events and conference ideation/ conceptualization, operations, strategy.

Salary
N300,000 - N350,000 / Month (Net)
