Job Title: Travel Consultant

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Travel Consultant who is passionate about travel and improving the travel experiences of our clients.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing complete travel packages, suggesting suitable travel options, and providing relevant information to travelers.
• If you are multilingual, it's an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to determine their travel needs and preferences
• Organize complete travel packages, including transportation, accommodations, and other travel services
• Provide relevant information, brochures, and publications to travelers
• Promote sales and meet profit targets
• Research and study different travel destinations and options
• Keep up-to-date with changes in travel regulations and visa requirements
• Book transportation, make hotel reservations, and collect payments
• Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages
• Deal with any travel problems, complaints, or refunds that arise
• Attend travel seminars to stay updated on tourism trends
• Maintain relationships with key individuals and network with tour operators
• Maintain statistical and financial records.

Minimum Requirements

• HND in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or a relevant field
• 2+ years of experience as a Travel Agent or similar role
• IATA certification is an added advantage
• Knowledgeable about travel, tourism, offers & trends
• Excellent sales and presentation skills
• Strong multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Remuneration and Benefits

• N110,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
