We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Social Media / Content Creator (Intern)

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s social media strategy, including creating a content calendar, scheduling posts, and monitoring and responding to comments and messages.
• Monitor competitor pages and campaigns, and use insights to inform the company’s social media strategy.
• Create engaging and visually appealing content that aligns with the company’s brand voice and values on platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat.
• Have an eye for aesthetics and an understanding of what types of content is visually appealing and engaging to audiences.
• Understand the key elements of virality and how to make content that is more likely to go viral.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and create content for various marketing campaigns and initiatives.
• Manage and maintain the company’s social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and any other relevant platforms.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and technologies, and make recommendations for the company’s social media strategy accordingly.
• Monitor and analyze social media performance and engagement metrics, and use data to inform and adjust the company’s social media strategy.
• Engage with followers and respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
• Develop and maintain relationships with social media influencers and other external partners to increase the company’s social media presence.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Journalism or a related field
• Familiarity with handling different social media like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter
• Basic understanding of social media trends
• Highly creative and motivated
• Impressive oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Ability to work collaboratively and willingness to learn new skills
• Having a go-getter attitude
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Problem-solving ability and listening skills.
