We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Slickline Operation Instructor

Locations: Warri - Delta, Port Harcourt - Rivers, and Lagos

Job Brief

• The Slickline Operation Instructor will be responsible for teaching and training oil and gas personnel on the proper use of slickline equipment and techniques. This includes designing and delivering training courses, developing training materials, conducting practical exercises and assessments, and providing coaching and feedback to students.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop training materials, lesson plans, and course outlines for slickline operation courses.
• Deliver effective training courses that cover a range of slickline techniques, equipment, and procedures.
• Conduct practical exercises and assessments to test trainees' knowledge and skills.
• Provide individual coaching and feedback to trainees to ensure they are competent and confident in using slickline equipment.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in slickline technology and techniques and ensure that training courses reflect these changes.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during all training activities.
• Maintain accurate records of training courses, student progress, and assessments.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of Higher National Diploma (HND) in Petroleum Technology/Engineering
• Must have a Minimums of Two (2) year working experience as a Driller, production engineer or Geophysicist
• Be occupationally competent
• Have/belong to a professional certificate/group related to Drilling production
• Have been trained in instructional/training techniques and/or have proven instructing experience
• Proven experience in designing and delivering effective training courses.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Willingness to travel to different locations to deliver training courses.
