The Governing Council of Adamawa State College of Health Technology, Michika, in accordance with the provisions of Adamawa State College of Health Technology Law No. 2 of 2018, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Provost

Location: Michika, Adamawa

Job Description

• The Provost is the Chief Academic and Executive officer as well as Chief Accounting Officer, has statutory power of exercising general authority over the staff and the responsibility for disciplinary of all staff below HATISS 06 acting on recommendation of Junior Staff Appointment and Promotion Committee and Chairman Academic Board/responsible for seeing that meetings of the Governing Council and its Committee are properly serviced.

Qualifications / Experience

• Applicants shall have a minimum of First Degree or equivalent from a reputable University with not less than 8 years Teaching experience.
• Applicants must have a sound background in any of the field of Health Technology.
• Applicants must be persons of high integrity and unquestionable character
• Applicant must be Information and Communication Technology (ICT) proficient.
• Applicant must be registered with the relevant Health Profession statutory regulatory body and have a valid Practicing License and a tutorial certificate.
• Applicant must be an indigene of Adamawa State.

Tenure:

• The appointment shall be for a period of four years in the first instance and may be eligible for re-appointment for another term of four years and no more.

Age Limit:

• Eligible candidates should not be more than 55 years old at the time of assumption of office.
