We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chief Mechanic

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities

• Oversee all mechanical system's maintenance, ensuring rig equipment is maintained to the highest level of operational standards.
• Provide technical support for mechanical systems to ensure achievement of rig efficiency and client objectives
• Provide specific focus on systems that will keep maintenance operations running effectively and avoid down time.

Requirements

• 8+ years of mechanical maintenance experience
• If working on DP Semi- submersibles, hold Flag State Maintenance Supervisor License
• Experience in power and hydraulic systems is required
• Experience reading mechanical drawings is required
• Superior troubleshooting, decision making and problem resolution skills
• Strong leadership skills and an ability to coach, motivate and mentor others and develop their skills and knowledge.
• Nigerian in country resident
• Fluent English communication skills (both oral and written).
