Job Title: Human Resources (HR) Specialist

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Specialist to join our team.
• The HR Specialist will be responsible for overseeing various HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance.
• The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HR best practices and experience in managing all aspects of HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interviews.
• Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
• Review and edit resumes, cover letters, and other application materials
• Conduct mock interviews and provide feedback to clients to improve their interviewing skills
• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
• Provide guidance and support to employees and managers regarding HR policies and procedures, employee relations, and performance management.
• Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files and benefits information.
• Collaborate with other departments to promote a positive work environment and a culture of inclusivity.
• Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in HR operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgement.
