Job Description

• We are seeking a talented and experienced Road/Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in road/civil engineering and a strong background in design, construction, and maintenance of roads, highways, and other transportation infrastructure.
• The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects, ranging from small-scale local roads to large-scale highways and interchanges.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage construction and maintenance projects for roads, highways, and other transportation infrastructure.
• Prepare detailed plans, drawings, and specifications using CAD software and other tools.
• Conduct traffic analysis and develop traffic control plans.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for proposed projects.
• Perform site inspections and assessments to identify potential safety hazards and road defects.
• Collaborate with other engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure that projects meet client requirements and are completed on time and within budget.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in road/civil engineering, preferably in a consulting or design environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in civil design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations such as AASHTO, MUTCD, and ADA.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Remuneration

• Salary: N60,000 - N70,000 / month.
