CIG Motors Co., Ltd recently introduced the Mini Space Bus GN8 and intends to cover the Nigerian market with the world’s best in terms of automobiles. CIG Motors Co., Ltd recently signed another landmark technical assembly agreement with a new partner, Jiangxi Jiangling Motors Import and Export Co., Ltd, thereby extending it’s vehicle models to include all commercial vehicles and cars of GAC, ZNA, Dongfeng (DFAC) and JMC brands. Job Title: Head of B2B (Modern Trade) - GREE AC
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Role Objectives
Overall, the job objective of the Head of B2B will be to drive revenue growth and profitability through the B2B channel, while ensuring that the company maintains strong relationships with its customers and partners.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets for the B2B channel.
Build and manage relationships with key accounts, such as building owners, developers, architects, and contractors to drive growth in sales.
Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure alignment on strategies and execution.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and risks.
Manage and motivate a team of sales professionals to deliver outstanding results.
Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on the performance of the B2B channel.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related fields.
Minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience and 5 years managerial or executive years of experience required
Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing sales teams and driving revenue growth.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze market trends, customer data, and sales performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
Experience with CRM and sales management software, such as Salesforce or Hubspot.
Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, codes, and standards related to air conditioning systems.
Several years of relevant experience in sales or business development, with a focus on B2B sales.
Professional certification or training in sales or business development.
Knowledge of the air conditioning industry, including products, services, and customer needs.
Skills and Competencies:
Sales and Business Development Skills: The ability to create, manage and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand the customer base. This includes prospecting, lead generation, account management, and contract negotiation.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of technical aspects of air conditioning systems, including energy efficiency, capacity planning, and regulatory requirements. This is important to be able to communicate effectively with customers and contractors, and to identify opportunities for improvement in product and service offerings.
Leadership: Ability to manage and motivate a sales team to achieve sales targets and maintain high levels of performance. This includes setting clear expectations, providing coaching and support, and creating a positive and collaborative team culture.
Customer Focus: A strong customer-centric mindset and ability to understand and meet customer needs. This includes the ability to build strong relationships with customers, anticipate their needs, and provide outstanding service.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends, customer data, and sales performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and optimization. This includes the ability to develop and monitor KPIs, track performance against targets, and adjust strategies as needed.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. This includes the ability to communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and other stakeholders, as well as to present data and analysis to internal teams and senior management.
Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service. This includes the ability to communicate priorities and objectives, collaborate on initiatives, and share insights and feedback to improve overall business performance.
