Carlson Hotel, a boutique serene hotel at the heart of Ikoyi, Lagos State, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Digital Marketer

Job Description

• It requires the services of an experienced Digital Marketer. Ideal candidate must be passionate about hotel digital marketing and possess adequate knowledge of various ways to successfully market an hotel online.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, track and optimize our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels.
• Have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution.
• Work with the marketing team, IT team (such as programmers), and vendors to launch campaigns on time and on budget.
• Plan, create and monitor the hotel presence on social media (Twitter, Facebook etc.)
• Launch optimized online adverts through Google Adwords, Facebook etc. to increase the hotel's brand awareness
• Daily posting of contents, updates, offers and other promotional materials accross our online and social media platforms.
• Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization etc.)
• Prepare online newsletters and promotional emails and organize their distribution through various channels
• Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update website.
• Collaborate with designers to improve user experience
• Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.)
• Acquire insight in online marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date.
• Maintain partnerships with media agencies and vendors.
• Use social media outlets to increase brand awareness.
• Work closely with the team to deliver content that brings to life the hotel, its values and key campaigns
• Researching social media trends/ up to date with the entertainment industry and informing management of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities.
• Basic knowledge of how to use video/ picture creation and editing tools e.g Canva is required.
• Use Videography, film editing, including motion graphics to create content for all social media handles.
• Effective management of all companies’ social media accounts.

Requirements and Skills

• Minimum of 5 years work experience.
• Proven experience as Digital Marketer or similar role.
• Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
• Experience with B2C social media, Google Adwords and email campaigns and SEO/SEM
• Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas)
• Perfect knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, NetInsight, WebTrends etc.)
• Skills and experience in creative content writing
• Analytical mindset and critical thinking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• An understanding of SEO best practices.
• Demonstrated excellence in writing, proofreading, and editing.
• Excellent research, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• The capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy.

Salary
N70,000 - N80,000 / month.
