Summary

• This is the Chief Executive Officer of the Organization.

Job Description
The successful applicant will be responsible for the following:

• Ensuring that Board and Council policy decisions and directives are meticulously implemented.
• Setting and implementing the strategic goals and objectives of the Organization.
• Acting as the Chief Public Relations Officer of the Organization within and outside Nigeria.
• Coordinating activities of the different departments of the Organization to facilitate quality services premised on growing and retaining membership.
• Oversee the Council, Exco and Committees of the Organization, and see to the preparation of all incidental documents and reports.
• Providing leadership and developing appropriate plans, recommendations and their implementation.
• Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of all financial documents including budgets, income statements, balance sheets, tax returns.
• Generating revenues through member projects and activities; through local and foreign donors; and through effective management of the Organization's assets.
• Ensuring the integrity, accuracy, security and confidentiality of the resources and records of the Organization as well as of the current and former members.

Qualifications

• Its mandatory to hold a minimum of BA/BSc/HND.
• Its mandatory to hold an MA/MSc/MBA degree.
• Membership of a reputable government-recognized professional institute like ICAN, CIPM, NIM, ICSA/ICSAN is desirable, not mandatory.

Experience:

• Minimum of 15 years work experience, 5 of which must be in a Senior Management level not below the grade of Deputy Director.
• Applicant should provide proof of successful supervisory experience in a diverse and people-oriented environment.
• Applicant should provide proof of successful targets achievement in previous job(s).

Personal Attributes:

• Not below 45 years old.
