Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local and regional laws and standards, and align operations with Mevron's global best practices.
• Generate ideas for improvement and make necessary changes or present concepts to executive leadership.
• Assist in the implementation of hardware and software systems and understand key cultural and economic factors affecting the product/service in Ibadan.
• Manage and train teams of Service Providers, coordinators, and support personnel.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support.
• Gather passenger feedback and insights to drive success.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration across multiple teams.
• Identify local user needs and proactively seek ways to meet those needs.
• Build positive relationships through networking and partnerships.
• Execute local marketing campaigns to increase bookings.
• Seek out business partners to enhance Mevron's services.
• Monitor city performance using appropriate systems and techniques.
• Organize community events to build brand awareness.
• Coordinate with Marketing, PR, and Communications teams for brand consistency.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience, including 2 years in a managerial or ride-sharing role and 1-2 years of direct people management experience.
• Detail-oriented with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience optimizing processes and executing initiatives.
• Self-starter with a confident and cheerful demeanor and natural leadership abilities.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and business owner mindset.
• Relevant industry experience in transportation, technology, delivery, or cycling is a plus.
• Alignment with Mevron's vision, mission, and long-range goals.
• Proven experience as an Operations Specialist.
• Experience launching community initiatives, such as building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series, and writing an email newsletter.
• Hands-on experience with social media management for brands.
• Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics.
