Job Title: Senior Marketing Manager
Location: Lagos
The Role
In this role you will be driving growth by implementing and strengthening the way in which we reach our potential customers, generate revenue and build our brand.
You will lead, manage, and hold accountable internal team members and external partners. This role has strong potential to lead to the Head of Marketing, Nigeria position.
Main Responsibilities
Support the Head of Marketing in the evolution of B2B Marketing strategy in order to achieve objectives and growth goals
Leverage data and creative talent to drive forward our brand and sales within Nigeria
Generate insights sought out and respected by industry mentors/coaches department team members
Leverage internal and external resources in order to achieve business goals
Lead the commercial strategies in terms of finding and working with channels and directing the marketing strategies of multiple partnerships across online and offline channels
Driving revenue growth through product and digital market strategy
Overseeing lead generation activities and utilizing a variety of tactics - ABL, paid social, webinars and email marketing - to generate MQLs and drive pipeline growth
Supporting the sales team with collaterals and content to help them convert more prospects
Collaborate with a variety of internal stakeholders from enterprise sales team, distributor account management, retail growth, central marketing, payment team and product management department to ensure there is buy in and understanding about future marketing requirements
Requirements
What we are looking for in a candidate:
5+ years of experience in growth marketing preferably in a SaaS, e-Commerce, and/or marketplace company
Strong branding, thought leadership, content strategy and execution background
Demonstrated ability as a strong storyteller and crafter to establish differentiation
Strong demand generation and growth hacking experience through the creation of lead generation campaigns on the appropriate channels, content creation to generate CTAs, and planning and execution of events/webinars
Deep understanding of the African markets, including connections to relevant partners
Demonstrated capacity to take data-informed decisions and assess business performance
Deep experience working closely with PR, Marketing, and creative teams regional initiatives: identify opportunities for regional partnerships or marketing campaigns and drive into the markets
Demonstrable experience creating sales enablement strategy and content to drive engagement and CTA with B2B buyers and stakeholders
