We are on a mission to help entrepreneurs across Africa build more customer-centric businesses. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Direct Sales Agent

Location: Lekki, Lagos

About the Role

  • We are looking for a direct sales agent to join our team and handle online & offline customer engagement, drive sign-ups and subscriptions on our web and mobile application through online & offline channels.
  • As a direct sales agent, you will champion the growth of product by approaching and engaging with potential customers to introduce and sell our application to entrepreneurs, SMEs, corporate organisations among others.
  • Your ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, negotiate and close deals, meet and exceed targets, and report on your weekly progress will be critical to your success.

What we Expect from You

  • Engage with potential customers and onboard them on the pressone application.
  • Drive sign-ups and subscriptions on our web and mobile applications
  • Initiate contact with online & offline customers and effectively convert leads into sales.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Negotiate and close deals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Develop accurate sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates on a regular basis.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our product, its features, benefits, and pricing.

Who You Are

  • You have 1 - 2 years of experience in field sales or a related role, preferably in the technology industry.
  • You have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills which has given you an edge in your ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • You are goal-oriented, a self-starter, and able to work independently.
  • You prioritise your time and have figured out a way to manage your deliverables in that time.
  • You are an extremely fast learner and pride yourself in your ability to pick things up easily.
  • You have the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and results-driven environment.
  • You are tech savvy, you have built your proficiency in the use of digital tools, such as smartphones and tablets, for customer engagement and reporting.

  • We have raised a pre-seed round from reputable investors in the ecosystem.
  • We are still a fairly young company with less than 10 people. So a lot has been accomplished by a small team.
  • Everyone on the team is extremely mission-driven and works incredibly hard to push the mission forward
  • Our office is on Admiralty way, Lekki Phase 1. We run an hybrid working system, with most of us at the office two or three times a week.
  • We have been in operation for a year. We have gotten enough data to validate the opportunity, and are entering a growth phase. It is certainly the best time to join.
