Position Overview
We are seeking a visionary and entrepreneurial individual to join our team as Strategic Partnerships and General Manager for our clothing lifestyle brand.
As the GM & Partnerships Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping the brand's identity, strategic direction, and overall success.
You will work closely with the CEO and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and grow the brand from its inception to a thriving and recognized entity in the industry.
Responsibilities
Brand Vision and Strategy:
Help define the brand's vision, mission, and core values.
Develop a comprehensive brand strategy and roadmap.
Identify target market segments, consumer trends, and competitive landscape.
Collaborate with CEO to establish the brand's unique positioning and differentiation.
Partnership Strategy and Development:
Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with the brand's objectives and target audience.
Identify and evaluate potential partnership opportunities, including brand collaborations, co-marketing initiatives, influencer partnerships, and sponsorships.
Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, competitor partnerships, and emerging opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align partnership strategies with marketing, sales, and product development initiatives.
Marketing and Branding:
Collaborate with marketing team to create compelling brand messaging, storytelling, and marketing campaigns.
Drive brand awareness through various channels, including digital marketing, social media, PR, and events.
Build relationships with influencers, media outlets, and industry partners to expand brand reach.
Sales and Distribution:
Identify and establish distribution channels, both online and offline, to maximize product reach and sales opportunities.
Oversee inventory management, forecasting, and supply chain operations to ensure product availability.
Team Leadership and Culture:
Build a strong team by recruiting, mentoring, and motivating employees who align with the brand's values and goals.
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Lead by example, demonstrating passion, dedication, and a strong work ethic.
Financial Management:
Monitor financial performance, sales trends, and expenses to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
Make informed financial decisions to support business objectives and long-term sustainability.
Industry Knowledge and Networking:
Stay updated on industry trends, fashion movements, and market dynamics.
Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to build industry relationships and gain market insights.
Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, industry influencers, and partners.
Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree
Proven experience in the fashion or lifestyle industry as Marketer or General Manager (5+ years)
Strong knowledge of clothing trends, consumer behavior, and market dynamics.
Passion for fashion, design, and creating a unique brand identity.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of successfully launching and growing a business.
Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment.
Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting
