Prime Progress is a social impact and accountability journalism media outfit based in Abuja. We report how people respond to social problems and investigate repressive cultural, religious and social practices that prevent individuals from achieving the best in their health and livelihood or even finding happiness and self-expression. Our team is dedicated to producing high-quality multimedia stories to spark discussions that lead to social change. As a social media intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to expanding our reader engagements and visibility across social media platforms.

Description 

• Are you passionate about the media industry and have a knack for captivating visual content? We are seeking a creative NYSC Corp Member serving in the Federal Capital Territory and with graphic design skills to join our team as a Social Media and Audience Engagement Intern.
• If you're ready to showcase your design expertise while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the world of media, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our team to create visually compelling graphics for social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Tik Tok, and Instagram)
• Design attention-grabbing banners, infographics, and promotional materials to enhance our online campaigns.
• Assist in creating engaging video and multimedia content for our social media channels.
• Post our published stories to ensure our content remains fresh and impactful.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND in relevant fields with 2 years work experience.
• Proficiency in the use of graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop or its equivalent.
• Strong creativity and a keen eye for detail to deliver visually appealing designs.
• Familiarity with the different social media platforms and their content requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the rest of the team.
• A passion for media, storytelling, and the digital landscape.

Payment
We provide a stipend of N30,000 per month.
