Job Description

• This role will be responsible for making executive technology decisions, managing budgets, overseeing all technological resources, and ensuring system and quality assurance processes are followed whilst protecting assets and maintaining and evolving technology needs.
• Three departments report to this role, whilst the successful candidate will be reporting to the General Managing Director.
• Success is measured through the development of the technology vision, strategies, growth plans implementing innovative solutions, and ensuring company-wide security.
• This exciting opportunity is suited to an individual who wishes to work at the executive level, managing multiple departments, and acting as both a technology and business expert.

Key Duties
Include but are not limited to:

• Identify, compare, select, and implement solutions and partnerships to meet current and future needs
• Define and communicate annual and quarterly goals, perform formal and informal performance reviews, ensure changes and updates are communicated in a timely manner and take responsibility for the group’s targets
• Ensure cross-functional communication to achieve business goals
• Coordinate periodic risk analysis to identify security threats as well as formulate strategies to mitigate threats
• Collaborate with all departments to drive solutions into priority captures, proposals, and major tasks
• Manage total quality management through processes and procedures
• Remain up-to-date and knowledgeable regarding industry trends and emerging technologies
• Design and lead the implementation of the strategy for technology while ensuring standards across the organisation
• Drive a culture of security and cybersecurity preparedness from the top down
• Build the agile technology environment to deliver solutions to markets
• Manage domains and SSL certificates, databases, servers, and third-party tools
• Oversee core IT infrastructure, network, and business applications
• Manager a series of product iterations.

Key Qualifications

• Master of Business Administration preferred minimum requirement of B.Sc. or honours Degree in Computer Science
• 10+ years working in various technological roles
• 8+ years of managerial experience
• Must have a demonstrated history with technology
• Java coding language required, Laravel and PHP beneficial.
