A reputable and fast-growing company based in Port Harcourt and operating in the maritime sector of the Nigerian Oil and gas Industry invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Civil Engineer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Assist with the management delivery of Road projects and programme of work with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate compliance with Health and Safety responsibilities of other company procedures.
• Be a proactive and collaborative team member, work closely with colleagues and fit seamlessly into a delivery team.
• Be flexible and proactive and liaise with other teams from other engineering disciplines

Skills Required

• B.Sc / B.Eng/ HND in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 2nd class upper or Upper Credit
• COREN Registered
• Minimum 10 years’ demonstrable work experience in positions related to construction & installation works of building services, etc.
• Knowledgeable and gained experience in roads and general civil engineering projects.
• Demonstrate a high level of skill in planning, oil and Gas industry engineering, procurement, construction and project management modification.
• IT Literate with veritable records of experience.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision and seek advice when necessary.
• Must have in depth knowledge of building construction.
• Ability to perform engineering calculations and preparation of reports.
• Must be able to efficiently communicate and coordinate efforts and ideas.
