Job Title: Operations Manager

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Brief

• In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the company's products and services meet or exceed customer expectations.
• You are also involved in hiring new employees, training them in specific skill sets and procedures, and monitoring existing workers, so nothing falls through the cracks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way.
• Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
• Plan inventory and oversee construction efficiency.
• Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant.
• Formulate strategic and operational objectives.
• Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability.
• Manage budgets and forecasts.
• Perform quality controls and monitor KPIs.
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff.

Requirements and Skills

• Degree in Business, Operations Management, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• 5 - 10 years work experience.
• Proven work experience as Operations Manager with construction experience in a senior management role.
• Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
• Experience budgeting and forecasting.
• Familiarity with business and financial principles.
• Ability to plan and foresee risk (risk management).
• Competent in conflict and crisis management.
• Leadership and human resources management skills.
• Excellent time and project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
