Job Title: Cinematographer

Location: Ikorodu, Lagos
Employment Type: Part-time

Description

• We are seeking a talented and experienced Cinematographer to join our team. As a full-time Cinematographer, you will contribute to the visual storytelling and production quality of our videos. 

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the production team to plan and execute the visual aspects of video projects, including framing, lighting, and camera movement.
• Operate camera equipment, ensuring shots are well-composed, in focus, and aligned with the creative vision.
• Use technical expertise and creativity to capture high-quality footage that enhances the storytelling and engages the audience.
• Collaborate closely with the Director and other team members to achieve the desired visual style and mood.
• Stay updated on the latest cinematography techniques, equipment, and trends to continuously improve the visual quality of our videos.
• Assist with equipment setup and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety on set.
• Collaborate with the editing team to provide input on shot selection and sequencing for post-production.
• Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality work within given deadlines.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Film Production, Cinematography, or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a Cinematographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your cinematography skills.
• Proficiency in operating a variety of camera equipment and accessories.
• Strong understanding of composition, lighting techniques, camera movement, and visual storytelling.
• Knowledge of different camera systems and shooting formats.
• Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Residence in or near Ikorodu, Lagos is required.
