Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support the Viral load optimization value chain management with development of supporting strategies and provision of technical support to states to meet goals.
Support states in the treatment failure management cascade and viral suppression goals.
Weekly collation, review, and submission of VL trackers (VL collection trackers, Lab NDR tracker, EAC trackers) to CDC.
Collation of the weekly IIT rate performance across all states using the shared RADET and provide feedback to the states.
Provide support for the enhancement of the Advanced HIV Diseases cascade.
Provide support states on Monkey Pox surveillance.
Provide support for the implementation of integrated NCDs -Cervical Cancer, HPT, DM and - COVID-19 and TB.
Continually review operational research findings to provide quality service to persons living with HIV in line with international best practices.
Collate and review monthly programmatic reports from states.
Support the provision of Psychosocial support for special populations- KP, Adolescent, peer navigation and linkages & community ART and care and support.
Develop and implement strategies to improve ART Adherence and retention in care including differentiated care models (both facility and community based) including adolescent care.
Attend to other tasks as directed.
Support the state treatment support team in providing adherence and psychosocial support for treatment failure management including Enhanced Adherence Counseling.
Support the establishment/strengthening of an effective intra and inter-facility patient navigation and linkages system.
Support the state teams to achieve assigned 2nd and 3rd 95 targets.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Ability
Degree in Medicine, Public Health or a related field; or a Master's Degree or equivalent in Public Health.
At least 2 years post NYSC experience in developing country health care programs or program support function.
Knowledge of the policies, regulations, reporting formats, and cultures of principal donors, including USAID, EC, DFID, CDC/PEPFAR, and others.
Extensive clinical experience in care and treatment of HIV/AIDS patients.
Demonstrated experience in non-profit sector in a program management role.
Strong supervisory and management skills.
Analytical Thinking & Conceptualization.
Cross learning capacity.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and make reasoned judgments in a timely fashion.
Committing to a course of action without undue delay or prevarication.
