Job Description

• We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to join our team. As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and robust server-side applications and APIs that power our web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy server-side applications and web services using modern development frameworks and tools.
• Write high-quality code that is maintainable, testable, and efficient.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and product managers to develop robust and scalable API.
• Continuously monitor, optimize, and improve existing systems to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues and bugs.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software engineering.
• Build and maintain high-performance, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems
• Develop and maintain data storage and retrieval systems
• Ensure the security and reliability of our backend systems
• Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to optimize performance
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to our engineering culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience as a backend engineer
• Experience with backend frameworks such as .NET, Django, Flask, or Node.js
• Proficient in at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript, or Ruby
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
