Job Summary
The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a branch office.
This role involves managing a team, ensuring efficient delivery of services, achieving business targets, develop and implement strategic plans, monitor financial performance, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of branch operations, including distribution operations, customer service, human resources, administration, and sales.
Grow and maintain portfolio of High net-worth and ultra-high net-worth individual clients through building strong relationships with prospects, networking and by providing proposition and advisory for our clients on Investment Immigration and Wealth Management.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.
Develop forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans.
Monitor branch activities to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, quality standards, and internal policies.
Continuously evaluate processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and streamline operations.
Foster a culture of teamwork, motivation, and professional growth within the branch.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve branch revenue and growth targets.
Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with prospective clients.
Collaborate with the sales team to promote products/services and cross-sell/up-sell to existing clients.
Monitor market trends and competitors' activities, making recommendations to stay ahead in the market.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
Develop and manage the branch budget, monitoring expenses and revenue to achieve financial targets.
Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track branch performance.
Monitor and mitigate operational risks within the branch.
Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
Prepare and present regular reports on branch performance, highlighting key metrics and achievements.
Collaborate with other branch managers and departments to share best practices and ensure alignment across the organization.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). An MBA is a plus.
A minimum of 10 years managerial experience.
Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in branch management or retail banking.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
Proven track record in driving sales growth and achieving targets.
Sound understanding of financial management and budgeting principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to the industry.
Proficiency in using relevant software and systems for operations and reporting.
