We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior PHP Developer

Location: Lagos

About the job

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development of the server-side logic, the establishment and upkeep of the central database, as well as guaranteeing high speed and quick response to front-end requests.
• They will be involved in the entire product lifecycle including the design, development, deployment and maintenance of new and existing features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience in software development.
• Experience with Service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, and REST APIs
• Meaningful web development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/Typescript
• Minimum of 5 years experience with PHP development & production and 4 years using Laravel.
• Minimum of 5 years REST services experience
• Minimum of 5 years experience with web development experience using HTML, CSS, Javascript/Typescript

Skills and Abilities:

• Experience with websockets services using PHP/Laravel, specifically using one of Pusher, Laravel websockets or Soketi
• Minimum 3years experience with building websocket apps using HTML, Javascript/Typescript
• Mandatory experience with an SPA framework, 3 years minimum, one of Angular, React or VueJs. React preferred.
• Mandatory experience with API testing tools like Postman etc
• Extensive mandatory experience with SQL preferably with any of the following databases; MySQL, Postgress, MS SQL Server.
• Experience with building batch processing applications using PHP/Laravel
• Must be familiar with batch uploads and batch processing of uploaded files.
• Minimum 4 years experience with deploying PHP/Laravel application to cloud environments, preferably Azure or AWS, specifically AppService or WebApp Containers for Azure. EC2 or Elastic Beanstalk for AWS.
• Desired experience in deploying into cloud native environments particularly Kubernetes, building CLI applications with PHP and scripting environment such as bash scripts on LINUX.
