Full Time Pharmacist at New Edge Pharmacy

We aim to become a global leader in retail and wholesale pharmacy, touching millions of Nigerians lives everyday through dispensing and distribution of medicines, through its current wholesale Pharmacy located in Mpape Abuja (FCT)* and its upcoming convenient retail locations and digital platforms. The company size and expertise will help to position us to expand the supply of prescriptions drugs and address the rising cost of prescription drugs in the Nigeria and Africa.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Full Time Pharmacist

Location: Mpape, Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Provides pharmaceutical care through a thorough review of prescriptions as well as through patient counseling for maximum benefits.
• Organize the pharmacy in an efficient manner for easy identification of drugs and sundries.
• Maintain full control over inventory movement to prevent product deterioration and expiry.
• Drive the marketing and sale of services like rapid health checks.
• Drive innovation and keep the company abreast of recent trends in the Health Sector
• Keep abreast of advancements in medicine by attending conferences and seminars and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
• Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations and procedures.

Qualifications / Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
• 1 - 3 years work experience.
• Proven experience as a pharmacist.
• Valid license to practice as a pharmacist.
• Detailed understanding and knowledge of dosage requirements and administration, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands.
• Great organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Deep knowledge of Local market - Chain pharmacies, individual pharmacies and hospitals.

Salary
N120,000 - N150,000 monthly
