Rupetta Academy is seeking a qualified, experienced and dedicated Nurse to join our Kids Summer Coding, Swimming, and Chess Club team on a temporary basis for a period of 6 weeks.
As a Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety and well-being of our young participants by providing first aid, health education, and support during club activities.
The Nurse will play an important role in creating a safe and secure environment for the kids and providing basic medical support to kids.
The ideal candidate must be passionate about taking care of children and have a friendly and patient demeanor.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for the provision and coordination of skilled nursing care and intervention to kids.
Monitor the overall physical and mental health of participants.
Maintain the health of the kids throughout a complete spectrum of care, including treatment of injuries, accidents, and illnesses.
Developing and implementing preventive health strategies, program, and providing education about health and safety for the kids.
Knowing, promoting, implementing and following up the universal hygiene standards and other protocols and procedures in the Club premises and ensuring high standards of hygiene of the club environment.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to medication administration policies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records for all club members and ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
Participating in health education of the kids (and family) when necessary.
Carrying out administrative procedures and documents (fill in forms, student health files, etc.), and reporting any problematic situations and cases that may arise.
The nurse at all time should be present at duty station
Provide health assessments for students and provide advice and guidance on health, safety and welfare issues.
Administer first aid and emergency care per medical directives or protocols for students.
Provide training in recognizing and preventing environmental hazards.
Maintain adequate medical supplies for the facility.
Monitor, evaluate and report on student health, safety and welfare issues.
Develop and implement the kids club health policies and procedures.
Develop and maintain health care plans for students.
Provide advice,counselling and support to management and students on health and safety issues.
Monitor the implementation of health and safety regulations and policies.
Providing health screening services
Maintain accurate records of student health and safety.
Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualification and Experience
B.Sc. Degree in Nursing or its equivalent
Valid Nursing licence with a minimum of 4 years experience.
A qualified and registered Nurse and one who prefers working with children of all ages because some pupils / students are boarders.
Experience as an Occupational Health Nurse is required.
In-depth knowledge of health and safety measures and legislation.
Strong understanding of child development and pediatric health issues.
Commitment to maintaining a safe, healthy, and inclusive environment for all kids at the Tech Swimmers Club.
