Job Summary

• As the Head of IT, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's entire IT systems, IT engineering and IT operations, including but not limited to software development, infrastructure management, network administration, cybersecurity, and technical support.
• You will work closely with the senior management team to develop and implement IT strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
• Lead and manage the IT department, including software developers, infrastructure engineers, solutions architects, network administrators, cybersecurity experts, and technical support staff.
• Ensure the availability and reliability of the company's IT systems, including servers, networks, and databases.
• Manage the IT budget, including hardware and software purchases, maintenance contracts, and service agreements.
• Oversee the research, development and implementation of software solutions that meet the company's needs and requirements.
• Assist in building and managing relationships with vendors.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, such as GDPR, ISO, BCMS and PCIDSS.
• Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect the company's data and IT systems.
• Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and partners.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in the IT industry and make recommendations to the senior management team.

Requirements

• B.Sc or M.Sc Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in IT management, with a proven track record of leading and managing high-performing IT teams.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and cloud computing.
• Experience in software development, including Agile methodologies and DevOps practices, Lean Six Sigma etc.
• Deep understanding and experience in ITIL frameworks and life cycles
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity threats and solutions, including risk management, compliance, and incident response.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
