• Our client is seeking to hire a competent Social Media Officer who will be responsible for developing and implementing Social Media strategies in order to increase its online presence and improve marketing and sales efforts.
• The ideal role holder will be responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts, and online customer engagements, and will manage the company image in a cohesive way to achieve its organizational objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop creative and engaging social media strategies on all social media platforms.
• Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels and adapt content to suit different channels.
• Oversee social media account design.
• Generate creative ideas for social media campaigns, contests, and promotions.
• Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness.
• Interact with customers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor customer reviews.
• Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications.
• Research and evaluate the latest trends and techniques in order to find new and better ways of measuring social media activity.
• Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales, and customer service to ensure brand consistency.

Person Specification

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in using social media management tools and platforms.
• Hands-on experience in content management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical and multitasking skills.

Salary
N70,000 monthly.
