We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Role Summary/Purpose
  • This newly created role will be a key leader in the evolving Global Talent Recruitment Team who are responsible for talent acquisition for GE globally.
  • As the Executive Search Leader you will be responsible for leading a team and delivering on individual requisitions that provides recruiting services where search methodology can be applied to ensure businesses and talent plans are converted into on-time hires through executing robust and effective recruitment.
Essential Responsibilities
  • This is a Global role, with a flexible work location.
  • Taking a consultative approach you will be accountable for full cycle sourcing and candidate assessment, at all times placing efficiency and candidate & hiring manager experience at the heart of your activities. This will typically be at executive level, but could also include niche / specialist roles at professional level.
As the head of the function, your responsibilities will include:
  • Lead the Executive Search capability for GTR (Global Talent Recruitment) globally
  • Engage & educate Executive level management on benefits and effective process management for in-house executive search
  • Partner with the businesses and the GTR COEs to gather hiring needs requiring search methodology and develop strategic recruitment plans, including defining metrics and SLAs
  • Deliver high-touch wing to wing candidate experience
  • Drive partnership / proactive relationships with various sourcing channels (in house resources, external vendors, referrals, etc) to ensure access to highest calibre talent and build strategic pipeline through labour market expertise and targeted candidate pools and channels
  • Execute on lead generation, assessment and candidate conversion
  • Create innovative recruiting strategies to target specific segments of the market
  • Define long-term engagement strategy to develop and maintain key relationships with high potential prospects
  • Manage partnerships with third party vendors
  • Share best practices and develop enterprise wide knowledge and skills
  • Lead transformation and process improvement projects
As a functioning recruiter your responsibilities will include:
  • Full cycle recruitment process ownership for senior level hiring
  • Partner with the business to gather specific needs related to individual needs and develop strategic recruitment plans
  • Lead job briefing and hiring plan creation with hiring managers and HR Managers.
  • Where required create job descriptions and attractive advertising copy.
  • Proactively drive talent sourcing activity.
  • Assess and select candidates to deliver high quality on time candidate shortlists to customers.
  • Effectively engage, pursue, and convert candidates into GE hires.
  • Deliver against defined metrics and SLAs.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, with significant experience in executive search (gained in house, or within an agency / consultancy)
  • Ability to provide leadership and direction within a team environment
  • Record of success in consultative account / stakeholder management and business partnering, building strong strategic relationships at executive level
  • Outstanding interview, assessment and candidate management
  • Track record of delivering high quality shortlists, and ultimately successful hires, on time and within budget
  • Process, compliance, metrics and SLA focused
  • Strong business acumen
  • Proven ability to work well in a fast paced, highly demanding and complex organization whilst managing multiple tasks / projects
  • Demonstrable strategic thought-leadership, vision, and innovation to drive improved performance, recruitment process and tools across multiple geographies
  • Expert in generating talent using a broad range of creative sourcing channels, including data mining, advertising, direct research, networking, headhunting and internet search
  • Demonstrated success in delivering executive recruiting services and a related network in at least one of GE’s business sectors / core functions
  • Strong influencing, communication and negotiating skills
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time
