Job Title: Architect

Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled and creative Architect to join our team. As an Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of buildings, structures, and spaces
• Your expertise in architectural principles, design concepts, and project management will be essential in creating functional, aesthetically pleasing, and sustainable designs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, objectives, and budget for the project.
• Create architectural designs and concept drawings, considering factors such as functionality, aesthetics, building codes, and sustainability.
• Prepare detailed architectural plans, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction documents.
• Incorporate appropriate materials, textures, colors, and lighting into the design to achieve the desired atmosphere and visual appeal.
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software and other architectural tools to create and present design proposals.
• Conduct site visits to assess the feasibility of the project, analyze environmental and geographical factors, and identify any constraints or opportunities.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the successful execution of the project.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team during the construction phase, addressing any design-related issues or modifications.
• Monitor and oversee the progress of construction projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
• Stay updated with industry trends, building codes, and emerging technologies to incorporate innovative and sustainable practices into architectural designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience working as an Architect, preferably with a diverse portfolio showcasing various project types and scales.
• Proficiency in architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of architectural principles, building codes, construction materials, and techniques.
• Ability to translate clients' requirements into functional and visually appealing designs.
• Excellent drawing and visualization skills, both by hand and using computer software.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and presentation skills to convey design concepts and ideas to clients and project stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and spatial relationships.
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and a commitment to incorporating environmentally friendly practices into architectural designs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional licensure or registration as an Architect.
• Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software, such as Rhino, 3ds Max, or Lumion.
• Familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) workflows and software.
• Knowledge of LEED certification and green building practices.
• Experience working on projects that involve historical preservation or adaptive reuse.
