Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Officer with extensive website knowledge to join our organization.
• As an IT Officer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networking systems.
• Additionally, your expertise in website development and maintenance will be crucial in enhancing our online presence and ensuring a seamless user experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, providing timely technical support to end users.
• Install, configure, and update software applications, ensuring compatibility and security.
• Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive measures to optimize IT operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop website features, ensuring a user-friendly and visually appealing interface.
• Develop, update, and maintain websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
• Conduct regular website maintenance tasks, including content updates, bug fixes, and security patches.
• Optimize website performance and ensure compatibility across different browsers and devices.
• Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and search engine rankings.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in IT and web development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Officer or similar role, with a focus on website development and management.
• Proficiency in web development languages and frameworks, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, systems administration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) and website analytics tools.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in web development and IT systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in web development or related areas.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms and online payment gateways.
• Knowledge of responsive web design principles.
• Familiarity with web hosting and domain management.
• Only candidates with good, sound and experience in website management will be considered
• Candidate must reside on the Island (Lekki, Ikota, Ikate, Ajah - Sangotedo axis).

Remuneration
N100,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
