Fleet Officer, Telematics at Max Drive

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Fleet Officer, Telematics

Location: Sango-Ota, Ogun
Category: Vehicle Operations

Description

• Keeps a record of all tracker IMEIs and their SIM phone numbers.
• Maintain record of all vehicles tracked within area of jurisdiction.

Vehicle Tracking:

• Install and manage trackers on all vehicles within area of jurisdiction.
• Ensure every vehicle is tracked and reporting live location on the IoT Platform.
• Monitor and ensure all vehicles are within their primary locations.
• Work with Collections, Recovery and Welfare teams by providing accurate vehicle locations when needed.
• Detect abnormal situations with vehicles and escalate immediately to Management.
• Monitor and utilize GPS systems to monitor drivers and track vehicles in case of theft.
• Analyze data to increase business operational efficiency.

Administrative Function:

• Periodically review tracking platform and make recommendations to management on improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of OND in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
• 2 years cognate experience as a vehicle technician or 2 years experience in fleet management.

Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and communication(written and oral) skills
• Excellent understanding of Inventory Control principles and practices
• Proficient in MS Office/Google Workspace.
• Good understanding of fleet management.
• Critical and Analytical thinking.
• Accuracy and Attention to detail.
• Confidentiality and Thoroughness.
