We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Location: Abuja, Nigeria

About the Role

• As a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, you will oversee the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes within the organisation.
• You will analyse financial data, assess performance and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive management reporting and provide insights into the financials of the business
• Drive the company profitability and growth by analysing revenues and costs as well as new initiatives
• Drive improvements in reporting and forecasting process to achieve operational excellence
• Performing management reporting and analysis as needed by the management team
• Creating and analysing financial models and simulations
• Anticipating scenarios about the company’s cash flow and financial projections
• Implementing monthly, quarterly, and annual growth strategies
• Prepare the budget and report on budget variations

Qualifications and Skills

• Candidates should possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
• At least, one professional certification is required (e.g. ICAN, ACCA etc.)
• Minimum of 7 years relevant experience with 2 years in a Managerial position.
• Experience working in and managing cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience as financial planner and experience with start-ups is an asset.
• Experience in involvement with fund raises for a start-ups is a huge advantage.
• Ability to analyse financial information and comply with regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and G Suites especially MS Excel and Google Doc.
• Strong attention to detail and commercially driven.
• Understanding of Business metrics, Product, Marketing, and Sales.
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and ability to communicate with other stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
