Job Description

• This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Computing teacher to join our school working on a part-time basis.
• The ideal candidate is expected to work with children within the age range of 4 – 11 years, using the British Curriculum.

Essential: Qualification, Skills and Experience

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
• Must be resident in Ibadan within commutable distance to Jericho, Ibadan
• Must have recent teaching experience in Computing, with a minimum of 3 years in primary level teaching across the specified age range
• Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of the British National Curriculum for Computing which includes coding
• Enthusiasm and passion for the subject and ability to convey learning to pupils
• Excellent computer hardware and software skills with the ability to troubleshoot technology issues for staff
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must have effective classroom management skills
• Ability and willingness to learn new skills and methods
• You must be self-motivated and be able to work without supervision
