Job Title: Revenue & Operations Associate

Location: Lagos

Description 

  • We are seeking a self-driven, highly motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join our B2B Prop-commerce Start-Up as Revenue and Operations Associate.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and forecasting our buyer’s demands, optimizing territory carving, driving market expansion initiatives, developing sales strategies, overseeing marketing efforts, driving lead conversions, managing supplier relationships, and coordinating order processing and fulfillment with internal or external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Territory Carving and Market Expansion:

  • Conduct market research to identify new regions and potential customers for market penetration and expansion.
  • Define and implement effective territory-carving strategies to optimize sales coverage and maximize revenue. Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute market expansion initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of market expansion efforts and adjust strategies as needed.

Analyzing and Forecasting Buyer’s Demand:

  • Analyze and assess the demand patterns of potential buyers within the different market clusters based on historical sales record, business growth projections and sales targets.
  • Leverage demand patterns to develop operational processes and policies to achieve our Service Level Agreement

Sales Strategy and Marketing:

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and refine sales strategies.
  • Identify target customer segments and develop effective marketing campaigns to generate leads.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Provide recommendations for product positioning, pricing, and promotional activities.

Lead Conversion and Order Processing:

  • Implement strategies to optimize lead conversion rates and improve sales funnel efficiency.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure timely and accurate processing of customer orders.
  • Monitor order status and coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners for order fulfillment.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to order processing and fulfillment.

Management Reporting:

  • Measure, monitor, and report on specific performance metrics and KPIs to the business directors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • 1-3 years experience in sales preferably in a B2B e-commerce or construction materials industry and eCommerce operations exposure would be valuable advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing strategies, lead conversion tactics, and order processing procedures.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and CRM systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to changing priorities.
