Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled and responsible Driver to join our team. As a Driver, your main responsibility will be to operate a motor vehicle and transport passengers or goods to their destinations safely and efficiently. You will be required to adhere to traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate various types of vehicles, such as cars, vans, trucks, or buses, depending on the specific job requirements.
• Transport passengers or goods to designated locations, following predetermined routes or directions provided by the employer.
• Ensure the safety of passengers or goods by obeying traffic laws, using defensive driving techniques, and practicing safe loading and unloading procedures.
• Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, conducting regular inspections, and reporting any mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Provide excellent customer service, including assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, handling inquiries, and maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information, submitting reports as required.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, punctuality, and confidentiality.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, or other team members to coordinate schedules, address any issues or concerns, and ensure efficient operations.
• Stay updated on road and traffic conditions, using GPS devices, maps, or other navigation tools to plan the most efficient routes.
• Follow any additional instructions or assignments provided by the employer or supervisor.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 - 5 years work experience.
• Valid driver's license for the appropriate vehicle class and clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a professional setting.
• Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
• Strong ability to operate vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
• Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of driving, including long hours and varying weather conditions.
• Familiarity with local roads, routes, and destinations.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Candidates must reside in lekki or its axis

Salary
N50,000 - N80,000 / month.
