We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Junior Data Engineer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description:

• Collect, clean, transform, and load data into a variety of systems
• Develop and maintain data quality checks and monitoring systems
• Work with a team of data engineers and scientist to design and implement data pipelines
• Support the development and maintenance of data warehouses
• Work with stakeholders to understand data needs and requirements
• Document data flows and processes
• Stay up-to-date on new data engineering technologies and best practices
• Create dashboards by pulling data from different data sources and Implement the overall analytics and business intelligence strategy for the Business
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
• Conduct thorough data analysis, help design and implement analytics programs, generate reports, and collaborate with various teams to ensure the company is optimizing its resources and maximizing its market share.
• Collaborate regularly with I.T departments and other teams to design and develop analytical projects designed to understand key business behaviors that drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
• Identify business problems and customer pain points, formulate hypotheses, develop analytic plans, conduct the analysis, synthesize conclusions into actionable solutions, and help implement recommendations for customer experience programs.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field, such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics
• 2 - 3 years work experience.
• Previous experience in data engineering
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or Scala
• Experience with SQL
• Experience with data warehousing and data lakes
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS and Azure
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skill
• Experience with big data technologies
• Experience with machine learning and statistical analysis
• Experience with data visualization tools
• Certified SQL, Power BI and Advanced excel user.

Salary
N150,000 - N250,000 / month.
