Seven-Up Bottling Company Limited is one of the largest manufacturing companies in Nigeria, producing and distributing some of the nation’s most- loved beverages in the country like; Pepsi, 7Up, Mirinda, Teem, Mountain Dew, H2oH!, Lipton Ice Tea and Aquafina premium drinking water. SBC has recently entered into Home & Personal Care category with the 2SURE brand and launched its first product, a Hand & Surface Sanitizer. Seven Up boasts of nine bottling plants with state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities strategically located across various regions in the country.

Job Title: Commercial Data Analyst

Job Summary

• As an Commercial Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in assisting the commercial/sales function in making data-driven decisions.
• You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to provide insights that drive business growth and profitability.
• The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within the FMCG sector, a passion for numbers, and a proven track record of leading or handling projects.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify meaningful trends, patterns, and insights that contribute to improved decision-making processes.
• Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports that effectively visualize complex data in a clear and concise manner.
• Proactively identify business challenges and opportunities through data analysis, providing recommendations for improvement and growth.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translating them into actionable insights.
• Independently lead or handle projects related to data analysis, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to identify emerging analytical techniques that enhance data analysis capabilities within the FMCG sector.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Commercial Data Analyst within the FMCG industry, with a minimum of 5 yearsof relevant experience.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and extract meaningful insights.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SAP Analytic Cloud.
• Demonstrated proficiency in project management, with the ability to independently lead or handle multiple projects.
• Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and strong business acumen.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• A goal getter with a proactive attitude, demonstrating ambition and a drive for success.
