George Houston Resources Limited - Our client, an Oil and Gas company located in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos State, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Civil Engineer

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Duties / Responsibilities

• Design layout and arrangement of pipes, tubes and vents.
• Ensure the proper maintenance of oil plants.
• Design and construct new diesel facilities such as buildings, warehouses workshops and control rooms.
• Negotiating modifications with structural engineers and project managers.
• Taking responsibility for on-site health and safety.
• Making judgements to solve problems.
• Scheduling and supervising construction work.
• Providing construction management plans.
• Scheduling and adjusting each project stage to meet budget and time targets.
• Developing technology involved in projects.
• Providing technical support to other project positions for specialist aspects.

Qualifications / Requirements

• B.Sc / HND in Civil Engineering or any related courses.
• 3 - 4 years of proven experience as Civil Engineer in Oil and Gas Company.
• Must have vast Knowledge of Oil and gas Engineering.
• Technical competence and excellent IT and mathematical skills.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• A thoroughunderstanding of health and safety legislation for project work.
• The capacity to work to strict deadlines and budgets.
• Age: 33 - 45 years.
