Multi Skilled Technician (Welding and Carpentry) at Greenkey Facility Management

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Multi Skilled Technician (Welding and Carpentry)

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
Welder:

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.
• Weld small and large components such as copper plumbing, beams, and pipelines.
• Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that perform the same job.
• Maintain and repair all machinery.
• Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors.
• Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Treatment and painting of all the metal works
• Fabrication.

Carpenter:

• Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements
• Build window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
• Lay out floorings, roofings or drywalls ensuring they are levelled and compatible
• Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves and other items and install them where designated
• Installation of security doors and locks
• Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance
• Build scaffolding and other construction structures.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a multi skilled technician in welding and carpentry
• Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.
• A training certificate in welding would be an added advantage
• Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.

Remuneration
NGN100,000 - NGN120,000 / month.
