Job Title: Head Chef

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Oversee the set-up of the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen scales
• Study each recipe and ensure availability of all necessary ingredients
• Ensure food is prepped and ready to cook in a timely manner
• Delegate tasks to kitchen staff
• Inform kitchen staff about menu changes
• Supervise and assist as needed
• Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area

Job Requirements

• Culinary Degree Certificate
• Proven experience as a Head Chef
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse kitchen team.
• In-depth knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and food presentation.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Outstanding creativity and a passion for culinary excellence.
• Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
