Your Job and Your Responsibilities
As a Project Coordinator you effectively manage and coordinate appropriately the project specific scope, schedule, resources, quality, risks, representation, coordination and contractual requirements.
More specifically:
You ensure efficient, effective, quality and timely implementation of the entire projects under your supervision: as updating and implementing the Project Implementation Plan (PIP), finalizing and managing the Project Scope Documents (PSDs), developing and maintaining records of the project, initiating and overseeing needs and technical assessments within the scope of the project, ensuring contractual activities are completed on time, donor rules respected and budget properly follows up.
You manage and develop the project team: as ensuring that all project staffs have full induction and briefings on projects, ensuring that staff and partners are aware of any project changes, ensuring staff are aware of Do No Harm and humanitarian principles and other codes of conduct, defining objectives and do evaluation of project team.
You assist in wider organizational development through learning and proposal: as monitoring and reporting any areas of geographic/sectoral growth for the organization based on field analysis, contributing to overall project design.
You manage external relations related to the project: as representing ACF in external meetings as requested, supporting HODs in sharing evidence of program impact and needs on the ground, promoting and defend humanitarian and ACF principles.
You ensure project data management and reporting: as ensuring development of a data collection and entry plan complete with tools and timeline that is integrated into the PSDs and PIPs, ensuring quality production of respective reports.
You manage and support to local implementing partners: as participating in the local partner selections processes, supporting the local partners on program launching and activity planning.
Your Profile
You have a Degree in Business Administration, Project Management or any relevant field, preferably in International Relations or Humanitarian Programs.
You have a significant experience with INGOs in insecure setting on projects coordination.
A previous experience with ACF in emergency and post-emergencies an asset.
You have at least 4 years of experience in project cycle management at a senior level in an INGO.
You prove excellent management skills specially of large scale multisectoral programme (HR, projects, stress management) and you are able to organize, train and motivate a multicultural and multidisciplnary team.
You show excellent diplomatic and negotiation skills. You are disciplined and able to work independently.
You speak fluently in English and have excellent drafting and writing skills.
National Package
Basic salary: starting from 938,683 NGN per month
Rent allowance: 50,000 NGN per month
Hardship allowance: 30,000 NGN per month
Transportation allowance: 16,667 NGN per month
Leave allowance: 10% of basic salary per month
Pension: ACF contribution 10% of gross salary, employee contribution 8% of gross salary
Annual leave: 2 days per month
Private health insurance: 100% health care coverage provided by ACF
Private life assurance: 24/7 life assurance coverage provided by the organization
Training: free and direct access to Cross Knowledge e-learning platform
Relocation benefits: 120,000 NGN lump sum relocation allowance + 20 days accommodation allowance (10,000 NGN per night) + flight ticket from the home base to the working base at the beginning and end of the assignment
Women at ACF are entitled to benefits such as maternity leave, compassionate leave for a hospitalized child and creche facilities for babies
Delocalised staff in the field offices are entitled to 2 flight trips per year back to their state of origin (within Nigeria)
