Job Summary

• We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Retail Shop Representative to join our fashion store team.
• As a Retail Shop Representative, you will be at the forefront of providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our store.
• Your friendly demeanor, fashion expertise, and strong sales skills will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have an enjoyable and memorable shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Assistance:

• Greet customers warmly and engage them in a friendly manner.
• Actively listen to customers' preferences and fashion needs.
• Offer personalized styling suggestions and product recommendations.
• Assist customers in trying on clothes and provide honest feedback.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

• Proactively upsell and cross-sell products to increase sales revenue.
• Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.
• Encourage customer loyalty and repeat business through exceptional service.

Product Knowledge:

• Stay informed about the latest fashion trends, styles, and brands.
• Familiarize yourself with the features and benefits of our products.
• Provide accurate and relevant information to customers' inquiries.

Store Maintenance:

• Maintain the cleanliness and visual appeal of the store.
• Organize merchandise to ensure easy accessibility and a neat appearance.
• Assist with receiving and restocking new inventory.

Visual Merchandising:

• Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to set up attractive displays.
• Ensure that products are showcased effectively to enhance customer engagement.
• Change displays regularly to highlight new arrivals and promotions.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor stock levels and report inventory needs to the store manager.
• Conduct regular stock checks to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
• Assist in conducting periodic inventory counts as required.

Customer Feedback:

• Listen to customer feedback and address any concerns or issues promptly.
• Communicate valuable insights to the store management for continuous improvement.

Transaction Processing:

• Handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Follow the store's cash handling procedures to maintain financial integrity.

Promotions and Events:

• Participate actively in promotional events and sales initiatives.
• Help create an exciting shopping environment during special events.

Qualifications and Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent; further education in fashion or retail is a plus.
• Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or a related field.
• Passion for fashion and a keen eye for style trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours, as needed.

Remuneration
N50,000 Monthly.
