Job Title: Store Manager

Job Description

• We are seeking a highly capable individual with the experience from a reputable restaurant to manage both the cold store and dry store in our Chinese restaurant on the Island, working closely with our procurement office to ensure smooth operations and efficient inventory management.

Education and Experience

• A Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Hospitality, Hotel Management or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a store manager or in a similar role in a restaurant with minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience. (If you do not possess this experience do not apply)

Retail and Inventory Management Skills:

• Strong knowledge of store operations, inventory control, and supply chain management.
• Experience in managing both cold storage and dry storage facilities is an added advantage.

Leadership and Team Management:

• Exceptional leadership qualities to effectively lead and motivate store staff.
• Proven ability to foster a positive and cooperative work environment.

Procurement and Supplier Relations:

• Working knowledge of procurement processes and experience collaborating with procurement offices.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and quality deliveries.

Organizational Skills:

• Excellent organizational abilities to manage and optimize inventory levels efficiently.
• Capability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines effectively.

Food Safety and Hygiene Standards:

• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in handling perishable and non-perishable items.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards in the storage areas.

Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:

• Strong analytical skills to identify and address operational issues promptly.
• Ability to make sound decisions to optimize store performance.

Communication and Language:

• Proficient in English and [any additional language(s) required for effective communication in China Town is an added advantage].
• Excellent communication skills to interact with staff, suppliers, and customers.

Computer Skills:

• Competency in using inventory management software and MS Office applications and preparing weekly reports on stock taken and calculated materials utilized on a daily basis.

Adaptability and Flexibility:

• Willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Openness to adapting strategies based on changing business needs.

Remuneration

• Salary Range: N100,000 - N200,000 Monthly.
• Very Attractive benefits and bonus.
