Job Title: Graphics Designer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties And Responsibilities

• The Graphics Designer, you should visualize, and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts, and photos. You’ll be the one to shape the visual aspects of websites, books, magazines, product packaging, exhibitions and more.
• Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. The goal is to inspire and attract the target audience.

Main Job Responsibilities

• Study design briefs and produce all marketing communication (print and digital) pieces for the company.
• Collaborate with the Creative Team, Marketing team and the technical team to translate those solutions through a variety of channels.
• Manage the production of all print’s pieces from conception to completion in line with the brand objectives.
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software
• Design graphic content illustration and infographics.
• Test graphics across various media
• Generate fresh concepts and ensure brand consistency
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
• Keeping up to date with design and software trends.
• Developing concepts, graphics, and layout, including making decisions about font, images, readability, and readers’ needs
• Design and code digital marketing materials such as templates, e-mails, websites designs and banners.
• Co-ordinate the graphic related components in exhibitions and activations.
• Deliver communication packages within agreed time and budget

Requirements and Skills

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree, HND qualification with 2 - 4 years work experience.
• Proven graphic designing experience
• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as In-Design, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
