Job Description

• As an Education Program Assistant at Danuwa Empowerment Foundation, you will play a vital role in supporting our education initiatives and contributing to the empowerment of youths, women, girls, and vulnerable groups.
• This position involves assisting in the planning, implementation, and coordination of educational programs to ensure equitable access to quality education and skill development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and improvement of educational programs and curricula to meet the needs of our beneficiaries.
• Support the planning and organization of educational workshops, training sessions, and events.
• Collaborate with teachers, trainers, and community partners to enhance program effectiveness and impact.
• Help with data collection, evaluation, and reporting to assess program outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
• Contribute to the preparation of educational materials, resources, and learning aids.
• Provide administrative support to the Education Department, including recordkeeping and scheduling.
• Assist in creating a safe, inclusive, and conducive learning environment for program participants.
• Participate in meetings, workshops, and training sessions related to program activities and professional development.
• Comply with organizational policies, procedures, and guidelines in all program-related activities.
• Assist in other duties and tasks as assigned by the Education Program Manager or supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in education program coordination or teaching is desirable.
• Passion for education and a commitment to empowering individuals through learning opportunities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse groups.
• Detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and educational technology tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of inclusive and learner-centered teaching approaches is a plus.
