Job Description

• We are seeking a talented and experienced WordPress Plugin Developer to join our dynamic team. As a WordPress Plugin Developer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and expanding our suite of WordPress plugins, contributing to the growth and success of our products.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain high-quality WordPress plugins that align with industry standards and best practices.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to coding guidelines and ensures optimal performance.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues, bugs, and bottlenecks in existing plugins, and implement effective solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and updates in the WordPress ecosystem to ensure our plugins remain current and competitive.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to create user-friendly and visually appealing plugin interfaces.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and suggestions to maintain code quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, QA engineers, and support teams, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of plugins.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of plugin updates, improvements, and new feature releases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a WordPress Plugin Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful plugin development projects.
• Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with WordPress Plugin APIs and WordPress coding standards.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with performance optimization and security best practices for WordPress plugins is a plus.
• Knowledge of other web technologies and CMS platforms beyond WordPress is advantageous.

Salary
N150,000 / month.
