We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Inventory Officer
Location: Lagos

Overview
In this role, you will be responsible to monitor and report on the DANG’s inventory levels.
You will also be responsible for developing inventory tracking systems, reviewing levels of supplies, ordering new materials, and performing a daily analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare purchase orders
Receive, store and issue inventories
Manage stock levels and distribute supplies from stock
Maintain stock records using manual or computerized systems
Update inventory on the website’s backend
Coordinate inventory and warehousing functions
Conduct regular physical inventory audits and cycle counts
Reconcile physical stock with the stock in the system or inventory log
Check the inventory software daily to monitor stock movement and maintain the optimal reorder level
Notify the team of new inventory received and update relevant systems
Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures
Inspect the levels of business supplies and raw material to identify shortages
Notify the Procurement Officer when stock is low
Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers
Record daily deliveries to reconcile inventory
Monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory
Maintain records of receipts as well as issuance of items that are going out of the storeroom to ensure accuracy and completeness
Collaborate with the Logistics and Fulfillment Supervisor to coordinate the movement of products and ensure timely delivery of products to customers
Place orders to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus
Analyze data to anticipate future needs
Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships
Supervise the offloading process and arrangement of merchandise, materials and other consignment so that it can be easily assessed
Ensure merchandise is stored in the stock room, using an orderly system for easy identification and retrieval
Develop procedures to avoid overstocking items that tie up cash and creates storage difficulties
Prepare reports on adjustments done on inventories that may be damaged, spoilt, etc.
Identify and mitigate inventory related risks
Generate and analyse inventory reports for ManagementPerform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Education and Experience:
B.Sc / HND in Logistics, Inventory, Economics, Library Studies or other related field
2 - 4 years experience as an Inventory Officer
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of inventory management and storage methods
Sound knowledge of the inventory management software (ERP) and inventory tracking tools (barcode readers, scanners, etc.)
Ability to track inventory and generate reports
Familiarity with various software programs necessary for day-to-day operations such as Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
High level of professionalism
Result-oriented team player
Good initiative, time, and stress management skills
Good inter-personal communication abilities
Strong organizational skill with an eye towards details

Remuneration
