Job Title: Economic Research Analyst

Location: Lagos

Description

• We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Economic Research Analyst. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the business and a proven track record of achieving business growth.

Job Responsibilities

• Attract and interact with targeted virtual communities and networks users. Research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types and proofreading articles before publication
• Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research
• Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
• Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
• Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems
• Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
• Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
• Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
• Promote content on social media
• Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
• Update website content as needed

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• B.Sc in Economics, Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations
• Proven working experience in Market Analysis with portfolio of proven written articles
• Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
• Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
• Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
• Fluency in English

Preferred Skills:

• Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
• Positive attitude, organizational skills and ability to meet deadline.
